If we did get the football forums sorted into teams it would be a good idea to keep it updated like that.

But as i said in the team forums thread there is not active at this moment in time. The football section as been pretty dead recently.

thats another problem i see.

With faces.com its gonna have alot of amercain users. Sure it will get busier but im not sure. What if we get a lot of different users supporting alot of different teams? Could we really want 50 odd sub-forums just for the football section?

And we best not change the forum name to soccer lac.gif

i wouldnt think there gonna be supporting alot of diffrent teams altho

an idea we could look at is having a sub forum for MLS and Australian League? if that does become the case im pretty sure alot of the australians are like fans of queensland roars or newcastle jets and shit like that but it could be intresting i have that problem on a fifa forum but most of them support english teams and there locals biggrin.gif

its one of those things we would have to wait and see

but imo if its not broke, don't fix it.

Nothing wrong with this section at all so it doesnt need changing. Its a good idea in theory but i think it would be too much of a mess.

My idea was always for to get x amount of team forums sorted with information and some good starting threads then strongly advertise them, most people like football and more so talking about there team so i think it would have attracted attention, but for now we will leave it, i still think itll be worth trying out at some stage but ill wait to see what increase the re-launch has on the userbase of the football forum.

Enough all of you. Take this to the boiler room or stop with the personal digs. If a real mod comes in here (which they hardly ever do so you should be okay) you'll get fisted with a knuckleduster

football is barely even the 5th favourite sport America, trust me the basic support isnt there yet. As for Australia, Football, Cricket, and Australian Football.....a number of sports are competing. Yes you will get them coming on but nowhere near teh amount that people seem to be expecting
