In this section, i'll show you how to use the site in general, for example

• How To rate
• How to send Private messages
• How to upload pictures
• How to use the "report" function.
• How to use site features such as Contact us and Searching for other members

Along the top of the page you should see an orange bar, as shown in the image below

Along this bar are various options.

When you first log in, You reach the Home Page. From here you can access the Wide range of features that Profileheaven has to offer.

Searching for members

When you want to search for members, Click on the "search" option on the Orange Bar.

From here, You can customise your search Profileheaven sets the defaults to The following:

To change the Age limit, Move the slider up or down.

Please note, although the legal age for using Profileheaven is 15, you cannot search for users under the age of 16. This is for security purposes.

To change what country and region you wish to search, change them from the drop down Menu's

Alternatively, Just select to search for one of the Quick Search options along the top by Gender or Sexuality

Or by one of the options down the bottom by Online, Birthday or New (you can also search for these by selecting the option from the orange toolbar along the top)

Receiving New alerts and Ratings

Whe you log into Profileheaven, you are automatically redirected Here. From here, you can see your friends, and if you have received any new comments, pic comments, ratings, friend requests and mail messages

All new alerts appear in this box, which is situated on the right hand side of the page.

If you get a New Private message, it appears in the alerts bar and also in the top right hand corner of your screen

and along the top of the orange bar, which is helpful is your browsing the forums, or are on someones guestbook.

To Rate someone back, go onto the persons profile and you should see a box that looks like...

(please note. not everyone has a box like that available, and some people also have their ratings disabled)

Simply select the appropriate number (on the scale of 1 - 10) then click ok (IMG:http://www.profileheaven.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Job Done.

The Pending request is a request that you have sent to someone else. An incoming request appears as Friend Request.

Okay

1 - find the image on the net that you want to post. (You can also use one of your own photos you have uploaded onto PH)

2 - Right click the image, and select "copy image location" as seen below

3) Go to the forum where you want to post the image. http://www.profileheaven.com/forum/forums.html

4) Either start a new thread by clicking "new topic" or go into an excisting thread and click "add reply"

5) Theres a wee button you need to press (see below). Its the one that looks like a photo, with the sun setting behine a hill. Just click that button, and in the box that comes up, PASTE the URL of the image into the box and click okay.

Wolah. then click "Add post". If you've started a new thread you'll need to enter a title or subject for the thread "I saw this duck today"

You cant always direct link to images though, sometimes there will be an error message when you try and post a picture on the forums after following Ray's instructions. This will be the no dynamic urls message.

In this case, save the photo to your hard drive and upload it to image shack, photobucket etc. Once this is done you can paste the url with the image tags around it, which will look like this...

To include someones profile image with a post, simply view the photo you'd like to post. Right click the image and select "View Image". Copy and paste the url into a reply box with the image tags and hey prestooo.
