About meWhat in the world do I say here...hmmm..... well, I like to laugh. I enjoy humor. The type of humor I don't like are crude and/or dark. I also don't like to listen to a lot of cursing. People, expand your vocabulary please! I am a pretty calm person with a bit of silliness. I can have a sarcastic sense of humor sometimes, but I try not to do that around people who are clueless or sensitive to that type of humor. I'm probably online way too much, but I'm on the computer basically all day anyway doing work, so I don't know if it really counts.... I like to cook and experiment with new recipes. I am the person who can't eat the same thing for too long. I do a lot of baking as well. I like to make my own bread, and I make sweet breads and cookies and pastries when i have no cash to buy junk and am craving sugar. I made cinnamon rolls the other day. MAN they were so good! I did share a couple with my roommate but I ate most of them. lol. I have expensive taste in food, which sucks right now because I don't have much money to get the ingredients I want, but hopefully I will be able to get those things again soon. Once you taste gourmet, and food without the junk in it, you are tainted forever! Especially with chocolate..mmm........ok that is enough of talking about that. I'm a Christian, 24-7, not just on Sunday, and not just believing the parts of the Bible I want to believe and ignoring the rest. Now, I understand most people may not have liked it, but i purposely went and checked out a lot of peoples pages, and VEERY few came back to check my page out which did not happen when i had my other pictures as profile picture. im not saying they are obligated to rate me, but i mean, they didnt even try to come back and check out my page to see what i was about. i check out just about everyone's page that comes and peeks at mine (unless they are reeealy young sometimes) but hardly anyone even came back to my page in this instance! So, I've come to the conclusion that most people on PH are superficial, or are only interested in finding out about people that look similar to themselves. (i know that not all of them are.)I know everyone on this site has their own reasons for being on here, but I thought it was at least to get to know people from different places. Is majority of people on here only to hook up with someone or have conversations about nothing? But what is interesting is that I got consistent rates of 10 by whoever DID visit my page. and that is interesting because the more popular pictures, every once in a while someone would come in and throw in a bad rate. (haters?) So, I was surprised, but then not surprised at the superficiality of PH. and was kind of dissapointed, because I check out all kinds of peoples pages. just because i check out someones page does not mean i want them! New PictureWell, I just put up my new profile picture and I think it will be interesting to see what type of people rate my picture, if I get any hits to my profile at all! lol. This picture is very different than any picture I have ever taken. I really like it, and i think its becoming one of my most favorite pictures, but I dont know what everyone else will think. The last picture I had up, more people took a look at than my others, and for some reason, it drew a whole lot of teenagers. so far i've only gotten one vote since i've had this new picture up.so in this moment, i am just thinking about beauty, and how all the different cultures have different standards and its so interesting. I love that everyone is unique, and I love looking at all the different types of people God has made. There is a wonderful beauty in every individual race. So love what you've got, and don't worry about who doesnt like it. All you have to be concerned with is those who do like what you've got!

Sometimes, you have no idea what is going on in a persons life and what they are going through. Instead of just reacting the same as their reaction, try to gain some understanding of why they do the things they do. I am not saying that it gives them a right to be mean or do wrong things, but you will have a more understanding heart and can choose a more loving response to them that could change their lives. there are times when you do have to correct people strongly when they are in the wrong, but you dont have to be wrong with how you respond. i am saying this because you can kill people with your words. so try to choose them wisely! speak life. and when you speak life, also speak life into your own life. start changing the negative words you say about yourself and say the opposite and turn them into positive statements. also, if people get jealous of you, so what? don't get a big head and put other people down, and the opposite, don't get upset or try to be more like everyone else to make people like you. people that are jealous have issues going on with themselves and you don't have to let it affect you. i can honestly say i rarely if ever get jealous. and if i even start to feel jealous, i check myself because i know i shouldnt be jealous of any person and need to do a self check to see why i would even feel an inkling of it. everyone is unique and has their own talents and ablities. i enjoy the talents of others especially when its something i cant do myself! it amazes me what talents people have been given. but enjoy and try to excell in your own talents that you've been given whatever they are and don't focus on talents that you are trying to do just because someone else is doing it and you are trying to compete out of jealousy (talents are not just artistic, writing, or physical skills they are many different types). if you want something just because someone else has it, examine your priorities. they cant live your life for you and certainly don't care if you are trying to keep up with them. and if they do, then they have issues too. You can have what they have, but dont get it just because they have it. get it because you really want it and it fits with your life. believe it or not, life is not a competition because God will put you where He wants you no matter what state you are in in your life if you are living for Him. He is the one who give promotion. and thank God for that! this week, take notice what you say about yourself and others and see if you fall into the negative trap. (a long time ago, i know i was surprised when i began to notice what i said about myself.) also listen to others, how they speak about themselves. why do people put themselves down so much? but like i was saying, take a week to watch what you say and start to turn it around. and i am not saying to be cocky or arrogant! because that is ridiculousness. Call for FriendsHello all!I've been crusin' through a lot of profiles today. At first I wasn't quite sure who to click on. I like to go through the ratings section because you can get a close up view of peoples pictures and screen names. I basically look at the profiles of people who look interesting or kind of quirky/funny or have some sort of interesting screen name. Or maybe they just look like a decent nice person. I will say it has been veeery interesting what I have seen so far. It's a good reminder that one cannot judge by looks alone! Some of the most boring/geeky looking people have the most interesting profiles/interests.(please forgive me if I have offended anyone in that statement i didnt mean it as a bad thing). And some of the cutest people have nothing to say or nothing at all on their profile, or are pervs. So far, I have seen a few people I may contact, but I don't know what to say yet. There's no point in messaging someone if you have nothing to say but 'hi'. So I am looking for funny, interesting people to talk to. I am glad most people on here are from UK because its fun meeting people from cultures that are so different from your own. I would love to learn more about where everyone is from and all the habits and customs and slang and basically the general lifestyle of where you are at. My life is kind of boring if what you consider fun and exciting is going to the club and getting drunk, so I cant help you there. But if you would like to know more about me feel free to ask. also, and i really need to say this now to avoid confusion: I am not looking for a man for a relationship on PH. nor am i looking for a boy for you under-agers. So you don't have to waste time asking do I want to "chat." I appreciate your compliments, but I am not looking for a fling or relationship, or whatever it is you are looking for. Keep in mind too that I said I am Christian, and I actually live like one  Ok, so if you have something interesting to talk about/discuss and want to be friends, then great! Feel free to message me/leave a message. one last thing: I notice that there are a lot of smokers here and people who say they like to get drunk/alcoholics. Now, I don't drink, and I don't think theres anything wrong with having a drink now and then if that is what you choose to do, but if you are an in-denial-weekend/weeknight-alcoholic, or a real one, then this is not good.  To smokers and over-drinkers, Please try to stop so you can be healthier and live a good long life! You don't have to die earlier than need be. Think of your family, your children, your future children, all the things you want to do in life and accomplish. maybe you wont care, but i hope this gets deep inside your spirit and maybe it will change one life for the better. Whatever your problems, God is the answer. If you really want to know God, ask Him to reveal Himself to you. Go to God yourself, and He will show you who He truly is and not what tradition and false and man-made religion has wrongly taught at times. God does not have to be far away. In fact He wants to be closer to you than you even can comprehend. His love for you is great, and He is waiting for you to ask for Him. God is big enough to prove Himself, so get to askin'! And you will find Christ, that there truly is One God, and God will show you what to do with your life and who He made you to be. God knew exactly who He wanted you to be and His will for your life when He formed you. He put you in this exact spot in time for a reason. But you could miss out on your true purpose here if you don't seek Him. God doesn't force His love on anyone. He gives us freedom to choose, but what sadness when one chooses not to love the One Who created him. ok, so thats it. basically you can contact me if you are interested in talking as a potential friend. If you are 15-18, YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE DOING THIS. You just barely came out of the womb, and you are already advertising your body parts. Don't you see the insanity of it all??!Please, please, please young people, respect yourselves. Girls, there are no genuine and true guys I know that wants their girl to be exposed to every other guy out there. Through conversations I've had with guys, they will LOOK if you have everything out, but that DOESN'T MEAN THEY WILL RESPECT YOU. That is what they said, not me. And for those who are old enough to dress how you want, it doesn't mean you should dress with all of your goodies out. Just because you can doesn't mean you should no matter how great your body looks. I am not saying you have to dress like a prude, because you are still a woman. But, you can still be sexy without everything hanging out or posed like you're in a porno or something. Guys, I haven't forgotten about you! Now, I like muscles, but a lot of what I have seen is ridiculousness. Please, I do not want to see you laying half covered like you are naked in the bed, or with your underwear on and your butt in the camera. Save that for your future wife. It just seems so silly. Maybe its because I've gotten older and wiser. Then i wonder do guys think the same thing when it comes to girls showing off their bodies as well, do they see the ridiculousness? And this is just random, but what is up with the guys who have the pink or purple flower theme on their site? A bit strange. But I guess guys can like flowers too.
